The type of guy in me only few cared to see

[image from https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/lmsims/www/China2004/SignsWonders.htm]

I am the type of guy who calls you beautiful instead of hot, who calls you back when you hang up on him, who will lie under the stars and listen to your heartbeat, or will stay awake just to watch you sleep. I am the type of boy who kisses your forehead, who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, who holds your hand in front of his friends, who thinks you' re beautiful as you are. One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have YOU. The one who turns to his friends and says that's him.

@ HOMER: If you want it so bad you can be like that. I bet you are already, you just have different set of priorities and circumstances.

@ Aris: You are most correct. But we should also be the same, one way or the other. We receive what we give... it may not be in the time and manner we want it, but we definitely get them back.

@ Metamorphosis: Like what I always say, people are born good and that goodness never leave them. You just have to be patient enough to see the person within :-)

It's so hard to find someone whose heart beats the same rhythm as your music. Oft times, in the subculture we inhabit, people seek the temporary and mind-blowing over the long-term and heart-warming.

Some days are easier than others, trying to cope with the fading hope of finding someone who'd end your search. Especially when you know that what values you have, and dreams you cherish is a rarity in this world of debauched superficiality. Of pointless trysts and stolen nights.

I'd rather have 5-minutes of a warm sincere hug from the one I deeply care about, than hours of romping with a total stranger. Sadly, often we can't have the one we want. Or they never arrive.

I wish my turn's next. I'm getting tired of this wait.

Hi Red: I agree that it is finding someone to stay with is a challenge. But it happens.

We are looking for the same thing... to be loved by that one person we will be with for the rest of our lives.

Achieving it entails hard work... but it's doable.

Keep a good heart, a happy disposition and an undying hope. You will eventually get what you wish for.

hey. hi this comment is not related to this post. i am dumbfounded by your inability to understand the word, "respect." first of all, aside from making a circus out of our phone conversations which are supposed to be private, you have willfully "forgotten" to delete them as you promise (which means, you dont keep promises). also, i, made it a point to shut myself up in the province in order for me to be able to move back again to my life. in the process, i left you with respect with whatever you wanna do and i did not even for a time tried to interfere with your affairs as i hope you will do the same too. unfortunately, you have this very irritating attitude of being constantly unmindful of your actions that you always end up, if not breaking your promise, being such an ass. briefly, what im trying to say is "leave me alone!" (or at least leave me some respect) and please dont make our neighbors (your ex-neighbors) think that you still live in my apartment. you can politely tell them honestly that you are no longer associated with me nor living in my place. also, im so delighted by your blatant 'respectfulness' (sarcastic) of posting comments in FB without me being able to read it as you blocked me. for chrissake, i live in the apartment and those people are my neighbors who i have to live with for as long as i want to stay there. [i dont mind you trying to sugarcoat your whole image to other people, you still remain as the biggest wrong decision of my life] ill leave you alone respectfully, just do the same for me, please... and for the record, i called you after the storm because i am genuinely concerned, not because im trying to get back to you or whatever (which is impossible). thank you.

Hi Anonymous: You don't really seem to be an anonymous kasi you seem to know a lot about me... well at least that side of me you pointed out. hehehe.

Thanks for the comment. Come to think of it, you're note is related to this post... kasi this is my side you saw, but decided to forego :-)

Cheers,
TGM

unfortunately its the side you never show... what i saw was my broken heart and my broken house...

forego? all i saw was my broken heart, my broken soul and my broken house... which you all broke literally and figuratively... and at least on my part, all i broke was your ego!

i dare you to post my comments as you dare me that you will post them. dyan ka magaling, sa blackmail...

@ Anonymous: Whew! too much use of the word "My".

Broken hear? Maybe?

Broken soul? Tsk, tsk, tsk. I have to be a death eater to do that.

Broken house? Hmmm... the last time I check, I chipped a portion of the cabinet & put a dent on the right side of the fridge. Hahah! The house was actually cleaner and tidier when I was there :-)

Oh by the way, since it seemed like you're tuning in to my posts... my china cup is all fixed now. :-)

Cheers!

Dear Green Man,
First and foremost I would love to thank you for the kind comments you left on my blog. As soon as I received an email that you had left a comment I read it and came over to take a look. I have been here for about an hour reading some of your posts. This one is haunting...... I feel that I have this with my husband and that he would say the same thing about me. True love is hard to find..... no matter what it took me three attempts to find the ONE and now that I have I could not would not imagine what my life would be like without him.....hang in there the right one is out there......... and you will know and that right one will know and this will all come together.....
